What is Bisphenol A?
Bisphenol A (BPA) is a chemical substance that is commonly used in the production of plastics and resins, or as an antioxidant in solvents.
BPA can be found in the coating of some types of thermal paper.
As of 1st of March 2017, BPA is now classified as toxic to reproduction according to the European Commission Regulation from 20/07/2016 (category 1B).
